I purchased this tv virtually 2 weeks ago to substitute a 42 in Panasonic plasma. There are a destiny of swell things almost this tv, only the one thing that matters near – the pic – was a large disappointment. The design and features of this tv are great. Internet worked actually well, menus are nicely put UN65D8000 away and I loved the big screen. If you reckon the tv straight on, the picture is excellent, but if you ride the slightest turn pass inwardness it washes out quickly. Smutty stratums gone terrible, screen uniformity issues become glaring (flashlighting and erect banding) and colors (particularly flesh tones) are poor. Watching an episode of American Horror Level was a nightmare. I exchanged this tv for the PN64D8000 plasma and am much happier. The plasma picture is not quite equally bright, but the perish pith viewing and colors are far superior. For me, better blackamoor levels and colour are more important than spectacularly bright whites. The plasma has a far superior picture.
